I got an e-mail last night from a dear friend who was announcing that they are adopting again. Makes my heart so happy! Then I remembered that maybe the Hunter's should let their friends know that our family too will be growing (and we need your prayers!!).
Before Eric and I were ever married we both felt like adoption was something that we would like to do in the future. When doors started shutting for us to be back overseas, we knew that the time to pursue that was now. Bent toward international adoption, we started the learning process, and were very overwhelmed by both the time and the money...not that those reasons should stop anyone, however we felt the need to do something now. Although we aren't going to be adopting anytime soon, we are going to be a foster family and love on whomever walks through our doors! We are excited! And nervous! So please be praying for our family as we prepare to share our home and lives with the precious little ones that need a safe home. We are honored to serve in God's kingdom and hope to glorify him as parents to the kids that are placed with us.

So excited for you all! I would love to have foster children one day and get so excited about the thought of international adoption...probably much later in the future though! You will do such an amazing job, and I can't wait to see how it all pans out for you all!
